Kipod will help count the special equipment at construction sites
The Kipod smart city platform has an additional feature that significantly expands the functionality and scope of video analytics from Synesis. Now the platform is capable not only of finding vehicles within the field of view of it’s connected cameras, but also to recognize the types and specifics of the equipment.
The implementation of this function will increase the efficiency of business processes and help to count the number of equipment used at large construction sites. The new Kipod function is maximally adapted for construction sites, road and utility works, loading / unloading areas, thus, minimizing the human factor and possible errors in drawing up records.
The next “training” step is to teach the smart system to recognize the type and specifics of a vehicle. For example, the system algorithms will be able to distinguish construction equipment from other vehicles. This function will help the video surveillance system to effectively exchange the data of the current situation at the construction sites of any type, scale and configuration.
